Tekadom 1200° C is a one-component fire retardant sealant made of inorganic silicate.
It is used to repair stoves, chimneys and fire-resistant bricks It is used for sealing pipes and can be applied to concrete, aluminum, firebrick, steel and iron.
It is used to seal and repair joints where high temperature is required (up to 1200°C) and is fire-resistant. This means the seal can be exposed to temperatures up to 1200°C and will still prevent the spread of fire, smoke and gases.
The sealant is not flexible and therefore not suitable for sealing expansion joints.
